100 years of headlines en vogue

In my master thesis "100 Years of Headlines en Vogue" I took a closer look at the evolution of headlines in one of the most important fashion and lifestyle magazines of all time "Vogue". While I didn't examine the wording of these headlines I just focused on the design and layout in my examinations. My hypothesis of research was that one would find a strong link between different mostly creative fields like fashion, art, industrial design, aesthetic canon among woman and the typography used in the magazines. Through semiotic analysis and different methods taken from psychological science I discovered this strong link to be true on the one hand and another interesting trend on the other hand.
