some poetries – hourglass official music video

This is the official music video for the track "Hourglass" I filmed on tour with my friends from Some Poetries.

some poetries – acoustic session

2015 has been a very busy year so far. The Dudes of Some Poetries are just about to release their new album. We filmed a nice little acoustic session with some of the new songs in advance to promote their new album. It was very important to me to achieve this grainy black & white look combined with the roughness and urbanity of the beautiful living room we used.

homestage – interior presentation

This is a film I recently created in cooperation with Gila Faghihi. Gila is an interior designer from Berlin (Germany) who needed a short film for her portfolio. Her work in interior design is done under the brand "Homestage". All work from filming to cutting and in the end post-production and color grading has been done by me.

in the woods with some poetries

While the Berlin based Band Some Poetries recorded their album in a house in Belgium we decided to film a little acoustic session in the woods. They performed their song “Petrified at night” and as a reward they got ticks.

acoustic kingdom session

The Acoustic Kingdom Session is a collaboration between the band "Some Poetries", sound engineer Marie Havemann and myself. We put a lot of afford into this project to create an atmosphere that fits best with the meaning of the songs by the band. The recording of the whole session took an entire evening.

madison affair – "promised"

I just filmed a drum playthrough for Madison Affair's song "Promised".
Cinematography and Light: Sebastian Hilgetag
The cutting was done later by Nick Harmsen.

zombie survival guide

I would call this short clip an evening project, because the whole thing was done during one evening.
The fictional guide is a 50s based, trashy clip.

For the vintage effect I used the free pack by Gorilla Grain.

Octopuses are fascinating, intelligent and dangerous!
That is a motion graphic work I did for university.
